A Brontosaurus turned into a horror
The Bronto is one of the principal creature designs from the developers’ creature devlog. Instead of a towering sauropod, its legs have withered and its body has swollen. Players describe it crawling and slithering toward them, closer to a colossal snake than a museum skeleton.
Do not confuse it with Benji, the friendly Brontosaurus who leads the Paleo Pals mascots. Benji is the attraction’s cartoon face, while the Bronto is the threat. The reception area also has a Brontosaurus fossil, which holds half of the first keypad note.
Where the Bronto chase happens
The chase comes at the end of Chapter One in the gift shop. After placing the basement fuses and pulling the levers above the three pillars, return to the office. The Bronto then pursues you while you power the floodlights at three fuse boxes.
Walk when you can rather than sprinting everywhere, so you stay in control on the way between boxes. When the Bronto smashes your exit, turn around and run straight ahead into the basement. That route leads to the caverns and ends the chapter.

Why escape is the only option
Terrible Lizards has no weapons or combat. Every creature encounter is solved by movement, timing and knowing where to go next. Reviewers single out these collapsing-escape sequences as some of the game’s best moments.
For the other creatures, see the Allosaurus and Dilophosaurus pages. The all-enemies page separates hostile monsters from mascots and fossil displays. The walkthrough covers the full Chapter One route leading up to this chase.
