Jordan, the stranded traveler
Jordan is driving from Chicago to Los Angeles when the car breaks down near Dalton’s Dinos on September 19, 1992. Reviewers describe Jordan as an athletic college sophomore. That athleticism is the story’s explanation for the parkour.
Jordan’s motivation is mostly curiosity and a wish to help. Noisy Pixel noted there is little personal arc beyond following the trail through the attraction. The search for the missing child drives the plot forward.
Stella Banks, the voice on the radio
The official Terrible Lizards account introduced Stella Banks as a lifeline on a walkie-talkie and a key member of the Dalton’s Dinos staff. She is off-site and connected to the attraction’s paleontology work. In play she is your main link to what is happening.
Much of what she says is practical, such as door codes and directions. Reviewers note she gets a few emotional moments too. This page leaves her role in the later story unspoiled.
Dalton’s family and the mascots
Dalton founded the attraction, and Elena shares the paleontology work. Their son Dalton Jr. is among those missing when Jordan arrives. The developers’ press material names all three as part of the mystery.
The Paleo Pals are the park’s costumed mascots, led by Benji the Brontosaurus. A missing mascot costume trailing black ooze is one of the first signs that something is wrong. For the actual monsters, see the all-enemies page.
